Botanical Gardens Queen's Park Was Opened For Visitors In Italy

The Park project that will be completed by 2020, covers about 50 hectares area between the municipality of Florence and Fiesole.
Romantic the Queen's Park was built by John Temple between 1870 and 1893 for years, around the stone mines under the name "Column" where geniii Renaissance received the material for some well-known sculptures, including here quarried stones to build a chapel, the Cappella dei Principi in San Lorenzo and some of the columns suffice. 8 acres of land around the quarries were converted into a picturesque pond, and a small road that was perdigues masons, were transformed into romantic paths lined with plants and flowers. The Park was officially opened by British Queen Victoria in April 1893.
Currently the Park is owned by Maiano farm, which produces organic olive oil Laudemio (the product won the gold medal at the international exhibition in Los Angeles and a bronze medal in Tokyo).
