New Park To Replace The Old Parisian Quarter
Once upon a time in the quarter of Les Halles housed the "Belly of Paris", but a few years ago it was decided to close for restoration. Now according to local authorities, it became clear that the Western part of the quarter will gain new visitors, as early as December of this year here will open the garden. It will be improved meadow, which is located in the center of Paris.
The garden of Les Halles will consist of 153 trees. In addition there will be organized several playgrounds for children and also for older people who prefer chess and petanque. This Park complex is a perfect holiday destination even for people with disabilities.
In 1370 square metres of the Park will be open Playground in which to frolic children 2 to 6 years. Specially built for them an artificial gorge and the sea shore and the real grove. In Les Halles will be a place for older children, namely from 7 to 12 years. This site is a 2.5 thousand square meters. There will be plenty of entertainment, places for adventure and even sports games.
A nearby metro station will be replaced by a new, more convenient for passengers. As reported to the authorities, the reconstruction of the quarter are going to be completed next year.
