Ayutthaya, Thailand

Built directly to the east of the picturesque ruins of the capital of the Kingdom of Ayutthaya, Siam stronghold, destroyed after the invasion of Burmese in the XXVIII century. Ayutthaya is a modern Thai city full of archaeological wonders. Headless Buddhas and crumbling, but still beautiful and sacred towers wool (Buddhist monasteries) testify to the greatness of civilization, the center of which once was in this place.
