Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan

On the northern edge of the Kirghiz Range is lively northern capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek. The city with numerous green spaces, parks and gardens, buildings and monuments of the Soviet period, has kept the former Soviet Asian spirit. There are many monuments and cultural institutions, including the National History Museum and Ala-Too Square, where every day is replaced by a guard.
