To the south from Garmisch-Partenkirchen on the Austrian border is Germany's highest mountain Zugspitze. Its height is about 3 kilometers. Here you can ski on the glacier slopes delightfully beautiful. Garmisch Partenkirchen and were once distinct cities, but the Winter Olympics in 1936 they merged into one. The length of the ski runs of varying difficulty is about 120 km, but apart from them still famous Zugspitze hiking trails stretching over 100 kilometers, a natural park and Germany's first superpipe. Skiing in Garmisch was incredibly prestigious, so be sure to show off your ride as soon as you return!
