Siena, Italy

This town in the hills of Tuscany will take you to the Middle Ages. Siena Cathedral was built in the XIII century. In it are preserved valuable works of art and superb marble floors. Piazza del Campo, the main square of the city, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It hosts horse race "Palio", which are probably the most infamous in the world. It does not wear hats and drink julep ... Local horse race - a medieval tradition of riding bareback through the cobbled bridge (you can imagine how it is dangerous). Siena is just 70 kilometers from Florence, you can take a fascinating trip by train and exploring the city to pay the whole day.
